Two rushed to hospital after broad daylight stabbing on major road

Two people are in hospital following a stabbing that took place on a Fulham road. The incident took place on North End Road near Fulham Broadway London Underground station shortly before 1pm today (Tuesday, March 11).

Staff from London Ambulance Service (LAS), including an ambulance crew and advanced paramedic, were called shortly after the incident. The trust told MyLondon that one patient was treated at the scene, while another self-presented at hospital.

Traffic website Inrix reported that North End Road was closed in both directions near Vanston Place after the stabbing. The lanes were stated to have been reopened at around 2pm.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 12.58pm today (March 11) to reports of a stabbing on North End Road, SW6."

They added: "We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic and a clinical team manager."

The spokesperson said that the first paramedics arrived on scene in about three minutes and that the first patient was treated on site before being taken to the hospital. MyLondon has approached the Met Police for further comment.
