If you're still deciding where to book your summer holiday, a host of airlines including Ryanair, easyJet, British Airways, and TUI are rolling out fresh routes this year from various UK locations - including London airports.

Low-cost airline Wizz Air has added two new non-stop routes to its roster, and as well as new routes, Ryanair is set to increase the frequency of its flights on 30 London routes.

The fresh routes provide a great excuse to visit somewhere new and unexpected this summer. Whether you're itching to explore Cape Verde or take in the sights of Pisa, there's a new destination on the horizon for everyone.

TUI is launching a fresh route to Porto from Gatwick

TUI is gearing up to introduce a whopping 300,000 seats just in time for the summer of 2025, offering travellers a wide range of new destinations to choose from. Andrew Flintham, Managing Director at TUI UKandI, shared: "We are seeing that our customers want more flexibility in departing airports, destinations and holiday durations, and this programme for summer 2025 shows our continued commitment to making it easier for customers to book the holiday that's right for them."

He added: "The additions are across 19 regional airports from Glasgow to Bournemouth with customers being able to fly on more TUI holidays from their local airport than ever before."

For those jetting off from East Midlands, there's more choice and frequency on the cards with brand-new routes to Burgas in Bulgaria and Boa Vista in Cape Verde. Meanwhile, Exeter is set to ramp up its capacity with an additional aircraft for 2025, plus a fresh route to the ever-popular Ibiza for holidaymakers, reports the Mirror.

London Gatwick Airport is set to have 1.9 million seats for summer 2025, including a fresh route to Porto. Stansted Airport will be offering 33 weekly flights to 14 destinations, with a new route to Enfidha included.

Wizz Air

Wizz Air recently announced two additional routes, offering the UK's only direct flights to Medina, Saudi Arabia from Gatwick starting on August 1. It marks the longest journey currently offered by the budget airline.

The airline will also operate flights from Birmingham to Rome Fiumicino three times each week. This new route will begin on June 16.
