Man rushed to hospital after stabbing outside West London Lidl

A man has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed outside a Lidl in South Ruislip. Police and paramedics rushed to Victoria Road at 4.55pm this afternoon (Thursday, March 6) to reports of the attack.

London's air ambulance also attended the scene. The victim remains in hospital, while emergency services await an update on his condition. No arrests have been made and the his attacker is still on the run.

Victoria Road remains shut westbound between Stonefield Way and Queens Walk due to the crime scene. The 114 bus route has been diverted away from the area.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: "“Police were called at approximately 16:55hrs on Thursday, 6 March to reports of a stabbing in Victoria Road, Ruislip.

“Officers, London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended the scene and located a male – no further details – suffering a stab injury. He has been taken to hospital for treatment – condition awaits.

“A crime scene remains in place at the location. No arrests; enquiries continue.”
