A man remains in critical condition after being stabbed outside a Lidl in South Ruislip. Police, paramedics and London's Air Ambulance were called to Victoria Road at around 4.55pm yesterday (Thursday, March 6) to reports of a knife attack.
At the scene they found a man with a single stab wound. He was treated at the scene and taken to hospital.
He is currently fighting for his life, according to an update released by The Met Police this morning (March 7). A cordon remains in place on the West London street as an enquiries are still ongoing.
No arrests have been made in connection as of yet. Victoria Road is closed in both directions between Stonefield Way and Queens Walk, with the 114 bus route diverted away from the area.
A Met Police spokesperson said: "Police were called at approximately 16:55hrs on Thursday, 6 March to reports of a stabbing in Victoria Road, Ruislip. Officers, London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended the scene and located a male – no further details – suffering a stab injury.
He has been taken to hospital for treatment – he remains there in a critical condition. A crime scene remains in place at the location and road closures are in place. No arrests; enquiries continue."
