A man is fighting for his life hospital following a horror crash in West London. The emergency services were called to Greenford Road in Sudbury at around 11am yesterday (Monday, March 10) to reports of a crash between a motorbike and a pedestrian.
It has been confirmed by police today (Tuesday, March 11) that he is still in a critical condition. The road was closed for hours with London buses on diversion but has now reopened.
Police did not mention whether there have been any arrests. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called shortly after 11am on Monday, March 10, to reports of a motorbike in collision with a pedestrian on Greenford Road in Sudbury.
“The pedestrian was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition. The road has reopened to traffic.”
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 11.06am yesterday (Monday, March 10) to reports of a road traffic collision in Greenford Road, Harrow.
“We sent an ambulance crew to the scene. We treated a patient and took him to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
