King's Cross Underground Station has been evacuated due to a "security alert." Video online shows crowds of people making their way out of the station amid a station announcement of a "reported emergency."
A status alert from Transport for London reads: "King's Cross St. Pancras: Closed - This station is closed while we respond to a security alert. London Buses are accepting tickets via reasonable routes."
In the video posted to X, an announcement says: "Due to a reported emergency would all passengers leave the station immediately."
The exact nature of the incident is not yet known.
MyLondon has reached out to British Transport Police and TfL for more information.
