A horse-spanking former heavyweight boxer has been spotted with his dog off the lead barely a week after police ordered he control the cat killer in public. Alexander Warren, 37, was caught on video in Brockwell Park at 1:14pm on Tuesday (March 4) with his black dog roaming free, much to the horror of Lambeth residents who fear their beloved pets will be mutilated if they let them outside.
MyLondon first reported accusations against Mr Warren and his black dog in February after obtaining video footage of two cat mauling incidents in Brixton Market on February 12 and 13. This week we reported police are investigating the reports and had issued Mr Warren with a Community Protection Notice (CPN), meaning "the dog must be kept on a lead at all times while in Lambeth and Southwark".
Now MyLondon will hand over video evidence to Scotland Yard of an alleged breach which was filmed in the borough of Lambeth this week. While Mr Warren owns two dogs, the CPN is only in place for his black dog. His brown dog can be walked without a lead.
The Met say the injunction was first imposed on February 24 and there are no exemptions. Breaking a CPN, which can last indefinitely, is a criminal offence, and could see an individual arrested and taken to court, with the possibility of a fine of between £100 to £2,500.

Since our first story, three more cat owners have stepped forwards to share their tales, but all feared being named. Mr Warren has spoken publicly about his criminal history of assault and robbery, and was convicted for an animal cruelty offence over a horse spanking incident in 2021. His last professional fight, under the alias AJ Carter, came against Daniel Dubois in 2017 when he was knocked out in 48 seconds.
One cat owner claimed her 14-year-old son let their cat Mikho out when it was allegedly attacked by Mr Warren's black dog on February 21. After fleeing up a tree and going missing for 12 hours, Mikho returned home with his stomach "ripped open, his intestines hanging out of his chest wall". MyLondon has seen X-ray scans from where vets tried to save the animal, but sadly he died two days later.
Other cat owners in the area have also reported alleged attacks by Mr Warren's dog on their beloved pets, including one man who witnessed a black dog snatching his cat from a pub table before mauling it to death just before Christmas last year. MyLondon has seen video footage of their furious confrontation with Mr Warren after the incident.
Another cat owner told MyLondon Mr Warren took responsibility when he was directly confronted about the death of a Russian Blue cat near Larkhall Park, which was allegedly mauled by the same black dog on February 27.
It means MyLondon now has footage of two attacks in Brixton Market, witness accounts of two attacks in Wilcox Close (adjacent to Mr Warren's flat at Daryngton House in Hartington Road), an account of the alleged admission concerning a cat death near Larkhall Park, and a video of Mr Warren's dog off the lead in Brockwell Park after the injunction was issued.
One furious pet owner, whose teenage son tried to intervene as the family cat had its guts ripped open, said community concern from Brockwell Park to Brixton to Battersea is reaching fever pitch, especially over concerns the dog could attack a human.
"He's impacting lots of people's lives," said one cat owner, "That dog could attack a child. The thing is, it's a real community issue... The police are not taking it seriously enough. We are at risk. It's not safe. It does not feel safe to be in this area. It does not feel safe to let my cats out. Nobody is doing anything. As a community, we are outraged.
"Is that not the point of the police? He lives opposite a primary school full of children. With those dogs, that's an accident waiting to happen. Are they going to wait for someone to die or a child to get killed? It just makes people like him think he can keep doing it."
This week the RSPCA said it was 'incredibly saddened' by the deaths but that it was unable to comment further while making its own enquiries. The Met has said its Dogs Unit is involved and officers on patrol are aware of the injunction and will continue to monitor to ensure the dog owner is complying with the conditions. MyLondon understands local officers are taking concerns seriously.
MyLondon has repeatedly asked Mr Warren for an interview to give his side of the story, but he has not taken up the offer. Lambeth Council has also been approached for comment.
