London rail travel has been plunged into chaos following an emergency services incident which saw all lines between Stevenage and Kings Cross Station closed. The exact nature of the emergency services incident is not yet clear.
"Major disruption" is to be expected until the end of the day as services recover, say National Rail. Travellers can expect to see delays of up to 60 minutes to their journey, with diversions and revisions also to be expected.
Several different rail lines are affected including Grand Central, grand Northern, Hull Trains, LNER, Lumo and Thameslink.
