2 men rushed to hospital after being knifed on quiet street

Two men in their 20s have been rushed to hospital after they were stabbed in East London yesterday evening (Tuesday, March 11). Police rushed to the scene on Thomas Road in Limehouse, E14, at 10.20pm.

Officers attended alongside London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance paramedics. The two men were found with stab wounds and were rushed to hospital for treatment, where they remain.

The severity of their injuries is not yet known.

A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. He was taken into police custody where he remains. A police investigation has been launched with enquiries being made.
